A highlight of the 56th Harzburger Musiktage was the concert on June 5, featuring renowned coloratura soprano Simone Kermes, the Philharmonia Frankfurt under the baton of Juri Gilbo, and trumpeter Vladislav Lavrik.

Performing selections from Handel’s Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks, Lavrik was praised by the German newspaper Goslarsche Zeitung, which wrote: “Majestätisch führte Trompeter Vladislav Lavrik das Publikum durch Auszüge aus Händels Wasser- und Feuerwerksmusik” (“Trumpeter Vladislav Lavrik majestically guided the audience through excerpts from Handel’s Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks”).

The concert was warmly received by a capacity audience and became one of the notable events of the festival.
